Chef Alise Pittman

Little Red Kitchen is the culmination of many successful businesses for chef/owner Alise Pittman. Her southern style of cuisine was first developed in her home state of Virginia with the first restaurant of ten years. The restaurant is still going strong and is an iconic eatery in Norfolk, VA. Her second two restaurants were in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area in Tahoe City, CA. They also enjoy continued success and are the result of another ten years of hard work and culinary joy. The Little Red Kitchen is classic southern cuisine where her heart lies.....hope you have a nostalgic soft spot for it too. Alise is also a dog lover and I'm sure you will get to meet her constant companion, Lancaster, a retired guide dog for the blind. They travel together all over the country as adventure is both of their favorite pastimes.
